Still Life Practical

Rosy Bateman will run a Still Life practical evening for us. Bring your cameras and she will bring items to photograph and will give a presentation.
Please bring:
– camera – could be your camera phone
– lights (extension lead if needs electric plug-in) /torches
– tripod
– any personal items that might work in a still life and that you would like to include, such as; draping materials (silks/velvet/ table cloths), vases/bottles/jugs/ ceramics, fresh fruit/flowers, back drops (dark or light),

Rosy will be bring (but not enough for 30 photographers!):
– boxes and supports
– jugs/ plates/cups and saucers/ cutlery/ some kitchen items that might work, pewter bits and pieces,
– individual (but limited) items for Vanitas type of still life such as: crucifix, skull (thank you Caroline), candle stick, pewter bits and pieces, dice, old books (but, sorry not our centuries old ones!), egg-shells, a candle.
– dead/dried flowers and branches
– stones
– musical instruments & elderly printed music (maybe)
– bits of material for draping and anything else that might work….
